First to explain the reason I wrote this essay. I have been gambling online or at land-based betting houses for many years. I have learned, the fixation can grab a hold of you and you will not even notice it until you are broke. Particularly if you are on a winning run. I have gone through countless tens of thousands of dollars in a very short period of time and to this day on occasion, I’ll go a bit too far. It appears you are just having a blast until you start to track your defeats and the guilt settles in, and then you continue to tell yourself "I can earn it back" constantly. It does not works. Then you become sick in your gut and the more you try the faster you lose.
When you see that you are ahead, remain on the UP! When you begin to lose, don’t tell yourself, "well perhaps one more" and over and over again, trust me, this logic RARELY ever works. Say you are betting on slot games, have a bankroll put aside before beginning your action. Don’t go over that limit, regardless how appealing. If you actually succeed, put that in a separate canister. Don’t spend your successes no matter what. Once you’ve gambled through your primary set limit, bail out. Head out, regardless if it’s on the internet or at a brick and mortar betting house, do not stay around. Always remember, there will be a different day, a different time.
Remember, wagering should be FUN not exhausting, nauseating work! If you are not enjoying yourself, you don’t belong there. If youcan’t afford the loss, do not even begin.
