If you enjoy a cocktail every now and then, leave your cash at home if you are going to do your consuming in a casino. I’m serious. Clean out your evening bag, your wallet, and keep all money, charge cards and checks out of the casino. Pessimistic? Not by any means. Just realistic. You can have a profit following a drunken night out with your friends and be lucky enough to catch a 25 minute roll at a hot craps game. Hang on to that story considering that it is as short-lived as it gets if you continuously drink alcohol and wager. The pair simply do not mix.
Keeping your money at home is a bit drastic, but defensive measures for dramatic actions is required. If you wager to profit, then do not consume alcohol and gamble.
